The House

Perhaps the best thing about the house is the large eat-in kitchen/diner with an AGA and wood burning stove and a table that can comfortably sit 10. Perfect for gatherings with friends and family.

We have a lovely middle sitting room with wood burning stove and TV, two offices if you need to have some quiet laptop time, a playroom for the kids and teenagers with babby-foot and a piano.

There is a beautiful large terrace for al fresco dining and entertaining with a BBQ and fire-pit, the dining table comfortably seating 8. We have a recently designed garden for you to enjoy, with hammock and croquet. There is second patio outside the back door of the kitchen with a small table that's ideal for kids tea or early evening sundowners.

We have a practical utility area in the cellar with washing machine, drying rack and tumble dryer, a big fridge freezer and separate drinks fridge. There is also a bootroom for muddy wellies and muddy canine friends! Well behaved 🐕 are welcome, this is walker’s paradise. There are also lots of lovely places to visit locally and we'd be very happy to tell you about them.
